In his early twenties, Matt spent three years leading a wilderness therapy program for at risk youth with nowhere left to turn. They spent their days cutting down trees and, without power tools, building the cabins they lived in. As kids were graduating from the program, Matt started Mason & Maker in 2013 to employ those who were graduating the program.

Over the years, Mason & Maker has grown into a full-service construction firm that remains committed to developing places and people.

Matt is a licensed General Contractor in the state of Georgia.
